RankRoot vs other AI visibility tools
Most AI visibility (GEO) tools answer "how often does ChatGPT mention us?" by running prompts and tracking the answers. That's useful once you're already readable by AI. RankRoot answers the step before: "can AI engines and agents read and understand our site at all, and what exactly do we fix?" Then it generates the fixes.

When to use which
- Start with RankRoot if you don't know whether AI bots can crawl you, your site is a JavaScript app, or you have no llms.txt or structured data. Fix the foundations first; tracking an unreadable site mostly measures zero.
- Add a tracker (Otterly, Ahrefs, Semrush, Peec, Profound) once you're readable and want to measure mentions and share of voice over time.
- Agencies often use both: RankRoot Agency to audit and generate files for client sites, and a tracker for reporting.
